Relaxation and Balance
-
Step-by-step instruction in guided touch and energy awareness.
-
Gentle, horse-safe movement and stretching.
-
Techniques you can easily repeat in daily care (before or after riding, during grooming, or while spending time together)
-
Education on reading your horse’s responses, so you know when they’ve released tension or need more support
What a typical session looks like.
Horses carry more than we often realize. Tension from training, stress from travel, herd dynamics, or even the weight of old patterns in their bodies. Relaxation & Balance sessions create space for release, ease, and flow so your horse can feel more comfortable in their day-to-day life.
What a Session Can Include
Gentle hands-on work — supportive techniques that invite softness and comfort (not a substitute for massage or veterinary treatment).
Red light tools — targeted light to encourage relaxation at a cellular level.
Energy work — calming practices that help horses regulate and reconnect.
Movement — poles, cones, walking, or lunging, depending on what your horse needs that day.
Stretching — simple guided stretches that promote flexibility and body awareness.
What to Expect
Each session meets your horse where they are. Sometimes progress looks like improved flexibility. Sometimes it’s as simple as genuine relaxation. The goal is always a step forward into greater ease and balance, whatever form that takes.
Important Note
These sessions are not veterinary care and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. All horses must have current veterinary clearance, and further diagnostics may be recommended if pain or medical concerns are suspected.
Why your horse needs it.
Just like us, horses experience:
Tension from training, trailering, or even herd dynamics
Emotional stress that shows up as physical stiffness
Compensations in posture that create imbalance over time
By learning these techniques, you’ll give your horse regular, gentle support between vet or farrier visits, helping them feel more comfortable day-to-day while also deepening your bond.
Owner-led means lifelong skills. You’ll leave each session with healing practices you can keep using, long after we’ve finished working together.
All horses must have current veterinary clearance before beginning Relaxation & Balance sessions. These services are not a substitute for veterinary care. We do not diagnose medical conditions, but if pain or underlying issues are suspected, we may recommend or request further diagnostics from your veterinarian to ensure your horse receives the right support.
What Progress Looks Like
Progress doesn’t always mean big, flashy changes. Those come with time. Sometimes it’s subtle. A deeper breath, a softer eye, a horse that finally drops their head and lets go. Other times, it’s more physical…better flexibility through the body, freer movement, or improved posture over time.
Each session builds on the last. The goal is always forward motion, whether that’s a single moment of true relaxation or lasting shifts in balance and ease. Whatever form it takes, progress is about helping your horse feel better in their body and more at peace in their mind.
We will leave you with YOU knowing how to help your own horse while we’re away!
