Horsemanship Classes for All Ages
Discover the bigger part of being with horses. The part that comes before, during, and after your ride. Join our horsemanship classes, where safety, confidence, and connection come first.
Whether you’re brand-new to horses, a parent looking for safe and engaging activities for your kids, or someone ready to deepen your understanding of equine behavior, our horsemanship classes meet you right where you are.
We believe horsemanship is more than riding—it’s about communication, care, and building trust with the horse you have in front of you.
Horsemanship for Kids
Ages 6-12 | 40 minutes | $35
Designed to make learning fun, safe, and exciting for kids of all experience levels.
Your child will:
Learn how to approach, groom, and lead a horse safely.
Discover the basics of tack, feeding, and horse care.
Play games that make anatomy and horse behavior easy to remember.
Practice simple groundwork skills like leading through cones or stopping with a cue.
Bonus: Kids earn stickers and badges as they master new skills!
Why it matters:
Horses teach responsibility, patience, and empathy in a way few other activities can. Kids gain confidence from working with such a large animal, while also learning respect, boundaries, and the importance of gentle leadership. Riding is such a small piece of what we do with horses. Correct care and handling is essential to their well-being.
Our horsemanship classes are great alone or paired with a traditional lesson program!
