Understand the Body.
Make Better Sense of Behavior.
Willow’s Way classes connect equine behavior, anatomy, movement, emotion, and the nervous system so you can better understand how your horse feels, responds, learns, and participates.
Every two weeks, one body class and one behavior class open for limited enrollment! Take the topic that interests you, or bundle both and save!
For the Horse Owners Who Never Want to Stop Learning
A Note From Our Founder
We create these classes for the horse owners who are always wondering, noticing, investigating, and asking better questions.
The more we understand about the equine body, brain, nervous system, and behavior, the more thoughtfully we can support the horses who trust us so deeply with their care.
Whether you own, lease, or have a favorite lesson horse, keep looking beneath the surface and stay open to seeing the horses in your life a little more clearly each time you’re together.
I’m so glad you’re here,
Chelsie 🤍

Tension influences how the equine body moves, functions, and responds to everyday demands. In this focused class, we explore what tension is, how it develops within the body, and why understanding it gives horse owners a clearer picture of movement, behavior, comfort, and performance. By learning to view tension as part of a larger physical pattern, you can make more thoughtful decisions about training, exercise, recovery, and the support your horse needs!
The emotional systems are foundational to understanding equine behavior because they influence what horses move toward, avoid, explore, seek, and need from their relationships. In this class, we explore SEEKING and CARE, two of the most influential systems behind curiosity, motivation, connection, attachment, and learning. Understanding how they shape behavior gives horse owners a clearer way to support engagement, strengthen relationships, and create beneficial training experiences.
Bundle both currently open classes to explore the equine body and behavior together while saving on the full experience. You’ll receive immediate, lifetime access to both classes at a lower combined price!
I’m Chelsie Brooks, an equine behavior specialist, IAABC member, and certified equine massage therapist with more than 30 years of experience in the horse world. I specialize in supporting both physical and mental rehabilitation, with a focus on how the body, nervous system, and behavior influence one another.
At the core of my work is the belief that horses deserve a voice. Every behavior is a form of communication, and when we take the time to listen, we gain a clearer understanding of what each horse may need.
Through Willow’s Way, I bring this work into approachable online classes exploring equine behavior, anatomy, the nervous system, recovery, and the connections between them. My goal is to help horse owners understand what they are seeing, ask better questions, and make more thoughtful choices for the horse in front of them!
Oh hey! Welcome to Willow’s Way!
